Better, stronger, faster...

Some of you might remember “The Six Million Dollar Man*”, a TV-series featuring an astronaut who, after nearly dying in a crash of an experimental aircraft, was rebuilt with nuclear-powered prosthetics which gave him superior speed, strength and eyesight. Of course, it took the loss of 3 limbs and an eye to force the issue, but the operation and rehabilitation gave him the chance to accomplish things that he could not have done before.

North American Flyers is not working the way that it should be. I have new responsibilities at my “day job” and at home that take priority in my life, so in order to create a better balance and a more sustainable situation for 2008 and the years to come I have decided to put a hold on new orders for the rest of 2007.

During this time of restructuring I will continue to deal with warrantee claims as well as catching up with existing and pending orders and, so all past and current customers will be taken care of. In January I look forward to coming back “online”, with exciting new product lines, simplified ordering and payment and improved logistics, shipping and distribution. I can put orders for January 2008 on a waiting list, but will not be taking action on them until that time. Feel free to e-mail or SMS me if you have questions.

This restructuring is necessary because my suppliers, customers, friends and most of all my family deserve better treatment than I have been able to deliver. This is hardly a decision that I take lightly, but I hope that all can understand that it is for the best, and that all will benefit from the changes to be made.

Looking forward to 2008!
